Hayden has spoken at several professional conventions educating
financial professionals on the many aspects of why people don't
always do what their financial plan tells them to do.
At a financial planner's seminar, Hayden said, "The
emotional part of money creates the biggest problems in your
business, but it is also what keeps you in business. It is
what makes you different from the Internet. Understanding
the emotional part of money gives you the factor that the
computer doesn't have, and that many of your colleagues don't
have."
Part of Hayden's professional consulting is teaching financial
professionals to help their clients:
- change so they do what they need to do;
- manage their emotions with market fluctuations;
- rethink retirement and create a new model.
Some of Hayden's training topics are:
- "Women's Financial Planning and Investment Decisions;"
- "Facilitating Client Change: A Financial Planner's
Guide;"
- "How Money Attitudes Affect Money Decisions: An Advisors
Guide;"
- "Life Planning for Retirement. . . and Before."
